I have been waiting for this lens for over three years when I traded most of my Canon gear for Fuji they told me at the time they would have a 1to1 macro lens very shortly, they even showed a greyed out macro lens in their 2015 brochure with a comment coming soon , I got so fed up with waiting and their non existing promises that I purchased a Canon macro lens for my one remaining Canon EOS, naturally I am delighted that one will soon be available as I do a lot of Macro Photography, my only negative comments, the price of £1249-00 almost double the Canon 100mm F2.8 with same specification and more than three times the price of the latest Sigma 105 F2.8 which has the same specification as the Fujinon at less than a third of the price, both these lenses are very sharp with the Sigma gaining top place in a recent review of all 100mm macro optics in a recent Practical Phtography test report..
