So I bought a Pentax. A 6×7. A beast of a camera. The mirror slap alone can knock over a semi-large cow if the wind is right.
The quality of the images from this camera is beyond belief. It’s film and glas. It’s marvellous. I will write an in depth about it at some point, but for now here is a series of images that I shot with my good friend Brian Mogensen who owns a jeans store in Århus called Blue Caviar
Shot using The Pentax 6×7 and the Takumar 105mm f/2.4 using a mixture of Kodak Portra 160 and Ilford HP5 400. Scanned on my Canoscan 9000F mk2 using Silverfast.
Wonderful. A friend just bought the same camera. Curious to read more about your experience! My Hasselblad 500CM is still my favourite as the negatives are so beautiful.

Hi I came upon your name a while back and must have subscribed as I admired your work. Your post today about your new Pentax makes me so nostalgic for the good old days. I am a Senior Citizen who no longer feels responsible for the photos I take because I use my phone.
