Fujifilm GFX 50R Review – Digital Medium Format Heritage

“A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.” I’ve always admired this quote by the late Apple founder Steve Jobs. He was a true visionary, and left a huge mark on the world and how we live in it today. The camera that Fujifilm announced today is…

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 review

Never in my time as a photographer have I encountered the amount of anticipation and general hype surrounding a camera release as is the case with the Fujifilm X-Pro2. We, the Fujifilm users, have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. But as of today. No more. It’s finally here. So almost 4 years on from the original…

Out

This post is somewhat different, but I wanted to show my view of a (quiet) friday night out. 😉 I took along my x100s. This camera never ceases to amaze me. So small, yet so amazingly powerful. The grain it introduces at high ISO’s is so fantastic that the only way to describe it is…

At the Wrestlingclub

Aarhus aparently has a wrestling club. I didn’t know it, until I went to a local playground with my kids last sunday. We went inside the big venue that was attached, since it features an activity tower for the kids. Surprised to find a boxing ring, complete with boys and young men, all living out…

Stargazer

Took out the Fujifilm X100s last night, fitted with the WCL-100. Equipped myself with a tripod, some gloves and a remote trigger. This setup gives a fairly wideangle setup with a bright enough aperture to avoid startrails. Noise ratio is, like with all Fujifilms X-Series, very low. So ISO 6400 is very clean. The moon…

FUJIFILM has created a community of photographers and people, who use and love the X-series cameras. The X-Photographers are professional photographers who use…

Foodfestival

This sunday my family and I went to see the anual food festival here in Aarhus. I brought my X-Pro1 and my new 23mm f/1.4. Shots are below. Processed in LR5.

X-vinTage1: My Fujifilm X-T1 review part two

Check out part one of the review here Using vintage glass is something that I really enjoy. Given the contents of this blog, it might not come as a huge surprise to some of you. I started shooting vintage glass on the X-Pro1 a couple of years ago when I got a cheap Fujinon 50mm…

X-StreeT1: My Fujifilm X-T1 Review Part One

This will be somewhat different from my usual “reviews”. Well, they aren’t really reviews per se. Much more like me praising the hell out of glorious lenses and cameras. (I’m overly positive, I know!) So, on May 27th, I caved, and bought the X-T1. I had shown some latency, since I really disliked the way…

Gitte & Thomas

Hi all. Another wedding photography post today. Again I was asked by a very dear friend of mine (Also being the best colleague in the world) to take photos at her wedding. I was also invited as guest, so I had double roles to fill! Again the images was taken using the x-pro1 with the 35mm…

Wedding as friendtographer

A couple of months ago I was asked by some friends of mine that I’ve known since highschool, if I was willing to take some pictures at their surprise wedding. They planned the day as a namegiving ceremony for their youngest offspring Alberte. What the unsuspecting friends and family members didn’t know was that there would be…
