A couple of months ago I was asked by some friends of mine that I’ve known since highschool, if I was willing to take some pictures at their surprise wedding. They planned the day as a namegiving ceremony for their youngest offspring Alberte. What the unsuspecting friends and family members didn’t know was that there would be a private ceremony in their garden later in the day. The whole day was very romantic in that special laid back way, which I rather enjoy as opposed to the typical over styled setup weddings.
Now for the photo-geekery stuff!
I used 3 cameras: the x100s with its 23mm f/2, the X-Pro1 with the 56mm f/1.2 and the XT-1 with the 35mm f/1.4
This setup was FUN to use! I could cover all situations without ever needing a zoom lens. It was great! For post processing I chose a hi-key approach for the black and whites, and for the color photos I processed using VSCO film Fuji Astia and Velvia simulations, while upping the exposure, to also hi-key them.
And with this, a huge congratulations to Thomas and Susan. I wish you all the best for your future.

Great set Jonas. Where did that wedding take place though?
I love the mood there, and those faces, etc.
it seems all very simple and essential yet with great happiness and profoundness.
Good job.
Hi Tommaso.
Thank you for stopping by.
The wedding took place at the couples own residence in the countryside of Denmark.
