Twenty Fourteen

So that was it.

2014.

It came, it went. Just like the year before it, and the year before that.

I like the feeling I get during this time of year. The feeling of having lived through something and afterwards trying to use these experiences for personal evolvement is one that I thoroughly enjoy.  Just like those last couple of hours before bedtime. I like to reminisce. I like to ponder about what an amount of time has brought me. ‘Cause isn’t that what life is about? Living time, have a great time and then remembering the essentials. Getting wiser from experience. Sort out the good experiences from the bad ones.

2014 has brought me so many great moments. Way more than any person could have wished for.

May 30th 2014 my gorgeous wife gave me a son. My third child, and the first one to bear an XY chromosome combination. He’s such an absolute treasure, and words cannot describe what he means to me.

My two daughters are growing up fast, and this year saw my oldest start school.

I had rotations on both Paediatrics ward, ob/gyn ward as well as the psyche ward, and I have gained tremendous knowledge in those 3 areas of medicine.

2014 was also the year where Fujifilm made me an official Fujifilm X-Photographer. I have had a couple of speaks and exhibitions, and generally Fujifilm nordic is getting all my stuff out there. Its pretty great.

And then there’s this blog. I had well over 120.000 visitors!! That’s INSANE! More than half a million page views and almost 700 of you have have decided to follow the blog. I’m as amazed, as I am incredibly humbled by this. I really have no words but THANK YOU!

I hope I can keep up the tempo in 2015, and hopefully have a vintage lens test or two 😉

May you all have a truly blessed and very happy new year. Thank you so much for being part of my 2014!

I’ll leave you with some random images… street(‘ish) work of course. I am however still, a street photographer 😀

  1. Happy New Year to you and your family! Not only is it the start of a new year in a day or so, but it is also the start of the second half of the second decade of the 21st century! Amazing! Thank for all the inspirational images and reviews in 2014!

    best regards.

  2. Small camera, but produced excellent photos. I planned to trade in my eos600D to Canon 6D full frame. After viewing your photos, I’m considering Fuji X series. What do you think?
