Like a sudden influx of fresh air, I suddenly found myself alone on the streets of Aarhus with my beloved X100f. It has been way too long since I have roamed the streets of Aarhus. Once again, my vision has been cluttered by massive amounts of photographic gear. I parted with my Leica M10 and a lot of other pieces of gear this past week. And it feels great! – I might continue this downsizing of photographic arsenal even further.
I’m NOT a collector. I’m a photographer!
All images shot with the X100f + WCL-x100
Ah man…you have no idea how much I need this too. But winter is still in full regalia. Cabin fever. Oh and ditto on the gear overload. Very cool shots.
great photos. especially the black and white one. love just shooting and seeing what happens.
question: Im looking to downsize from canon 500d for higher daily use. but not sure what to get. any recommendations. still want great shots but not with the heavy weight of a canon 500d. thanks am a newbie to this stuff
Great photos Jonas. My x100f arrives this week and I can’t wait to start taking pictures. Hope I can do it justice.

As always inspiring Jonas. Funny, though, I have made a few gear changes to reduce the clutter, and I actually added a Leica M240. Found a beautiful used one and paired it with a Voigtlander 40mm Nokton SC. So I have my GFX for landscape and this Leica for my street. I love change like this.
Cheers
Bob
Nice images. Number 8 caught my attention most. It is nice to get out and about. It has been really uncomfortably cold in the UK this month and bitter at the coast, where I live. I can’t wait for the temperature to rise a few points.
I parted with all my heavy Canon gear almost 5 years ago now because I wanted to concentrate on street photography alone. I went for the X100 Limited Edition and loved it. I was more than a breath of fresh air, it was a revelation. I actually fell in love with photography all over again. For the past 2.5 years I have used the XPro1 with the 35 mm f1.4 and added the 23 mm f2 last year. cracking pair of lenses. Good luck and good shooting.

For someone who isn’t a collector, you sure have a lot of great gear!

In all seriousness, you are indeed a photographer…and an inspiring one at that! I very much look forward to your visual outlook, and your posts.
What was it that you didn’t like about the M10?
On another note…I am eagerly anticipating the rumoured X-H1…I wonder if you have had your hands on this beast? Hmmm?
Best regards from Canada,
Mark
