The Full 365

I did it! – I actually did it!

Here on the last day of 2015 my year-long project of one image a day is over. The hardest part was actually the “shoot and upload within the 24h” rule!
I will be writing a follow-up post as to what I actually took with me from this experience, but for now I’m uploading all 365 images in totally random order to this post.

You can also see them categorised in months over at

the365.squarespace.com

And with this post I wish you all a VERY happy New Year!

I’ll see you all in 2016!

2015 – In toto

  1. Congratulations – well done! There are dozens of great pictures here. Have you written a post about “the rules” in advance? It will be interesting to hear about your experiences related to the project. I wanna give this a go myself, but I’m not sure if I will manage it. Happy New Year!

    1. Hi Petrus.

I did write about the rules in the first post back in january 2015. But I will do a full writeup soon. I think the ending writeup is important since a lot of people do 365’s, but in the end its what I personally take away from my own project that matters.

And GO FOR IT! … Its a very fun learning experience.

      Thank you for reading.

  2. Excellent work and beautiful images. I especially like that despite the use of various styles, each picture still has some of your DNA in them – big skies, vibrant colors, large eyes, etc. Congratulations!
I would also like to hear about your “rules” and the workflow you used.
    Inspired.

    1. Thank you so much Len. I love that you say that, since I think its one of the things the project has helped me do. Define my own style throughout various genres of photography. I will do the writeup soon. I promise!

      Thank you for stopping by.

  3. Very well done indeed, as always. I especially appreciate your black and white images, and I’m always looking forward to seeing more of them.

    1. Thank you so much Mike. I’m a black and white shooter at heart. Forcing myself into more color photography was also part of the yearlong challenge. I will now crawl back into my “monochrome-cave” again! 😀

      Thank you for following along.

    1. Seffo you old fez-dog! – I cannot stress enough how big of an inspiration you were to me picking up the camera. For you to follow along on this is very humbling. I shall see you in the new year! Force Barca! 😀

  4. Wow.
I have the very most respect for your endurance and of course for the (mostly) beautiful pictures.

    Best regards
    Philipp

  5. Outstanding. I like your black and whites too but my favorites are your color images. I love the bold, vibrant colors and your compositions are excellent. Well done Jonas.

    1. Thank you very Leroy!
My take on that is the following: When you decide to use color then use COLOR! 😀
      Thank you for reading /J

  6. Well done! Since I didn’t start on January 1st, I still have another two weeks to complete my 365-project. Do you have anything similar planned for 2016?

  7. Congratulations, Jonas. You have created a wonderfully diverse set of beautiful images that have inspired me quite a lot. They are helping us to notice and acknowledge the beauty that surrounds us. Thank you!

  8. Great effort, Jonas. I´m impressed. Had in mind to do something like this 2016. But I didn´t take any pictures at the first of january so I have to wait to 2017 🙂

    1. Thank you very much Peter! – What a pity. Oh well there’s always 017. (plus 2016 is 366 days anyways. Even numbers are boring:P )

  9. Congratulations, Jonas – that is some commitment, and quite inspirational. I am going to work my way up to it with one a week 🙂

  10. Hello Jonas,

I know, I’m a bit late with my congratulations but I just “discovered” your art recently. You’re a BIG Inspiration for me when it comes to photography. After looking through your 365 Pictures I feel the urge to actually start my own one. Thank you for your Inspiration!
    Regards,
    Kevin
